When used with proper lighting, Indanedione can visualize prints as well, if not better, than other methods like DFO. A recent study showed that Indanedione developed 46% more identifiable fingerprints than DFO on actual exhibits! For proper use and storage, Indanedione should be prepared for use shortly before needed.
