MAX Lifters will recover and preserve the MAXimum information possible with each lifter used. In cases involving latent print examination, collection of ALL areas of friction ridge skin from known parties involved is incredibly important and can also prove incredibly difficult, especially from those tips and edges of the fingers & palms. Our Vinyl MAX Labels are ideal for the accurate collection and preservation of all areas of friction ridge skin. You can either use ink or lightly powder the entire palm and fingers with our black Peavey Powder with one of our feather dusters. Simply place the exposed adhesive side down on the fingers and work the flexible material across the area of friction ridge skin you wish to collect making contact with the entire surface. Place your lifted print on a suitable clear backing sheet. Super bleached substrate provides for MAXimum contrast and detail. As you know, latent prints are rarely found at crime scenes looking like perfect rolled impressions. Sometimes all you get are partials or just the fingertips.
