Ardrox is a fluorescent liquid dye, which works well with lasers, forensic light sources and UV lamps. While Ardrox-developed prints fluoresce under 365nm, better results have been reported while examining evidence with light in the 450-480nm spectrum.

Blood Fixative is highly recommended for setting fingerprints or impressions left in blood. Before using aqueous based developers, the blood should be dry and fixed to prevent disruption or running of the blood during enhancement.
